Shortly after her costume change, Liang Jing Ru re-emerged.

There was this couple role-playing during one of the songs, which I find were rather out of place. They walked across the stage, holding hands and the guy was holding on to the biggest suitcase I ever saw in my whole life. I guess it’s not just me, because I overheard a girl behind me muttering, “The luggage is freaking big!” The stage couple stopped in the middle, a short distance beside Jing Ru, put the suitcase on the floor, and then walked off hand in hand. Okay… I didn’t really know what to make of that. It turns out that in the ending lines of the song, Jing Ru went over and knelt beside the suitcase, opened it, and out comes a row of balloons (secured by a line). Okay…

Liang Jing Ru mingling with the crowds. Later on, a group of fans were screaming, “Jing Ru, I Love You!” to which she remark with a pout that, “How come you didn’t tell me just now when I was walking around? You were all frantically taking my pictures only!”

Earlier on, Xavi was telling me about the ‘tradition’ of Fish Leong’s concert – Couples would take this opportunity at her concert to propose to their other half, or to declare their love and appreciate.

After all, this year’s concert was titled “Liang Jing Ru Qing Ren Yan Chang Hui”, so I had somewhat expected there to be a session of such declaration. However, all I saw were clips of past couples and their declaration. Luckily, some of the featured celebrities made the video clips darn interesting.

I love Mayday’s portion of the video! See them mimicking the poster in the background of the first picture! They were hilarious with their love declarations and marriage proposals to each other!

I came across Snapfish, HP’s photo service, yesterday and noticed that there’s a Singapore edition of the website. I went ‘Woot! Someone finally noticed the red dot on the map!’. Anyway, Snapfish is offering digital prints at S$0.19 for each print. I did some calculations and that comes to about S$0.224 per print if I am printing 55 4R photographs and inclusive of the S$1.90 standard mail cost. The cheapest I have seen so far is only S$0.25 for small amounts so Snapfish definitely catches my eyes for low-cost digital prints. What’s more? The prints are delivered to your door step or at least your mail box. For me, taking a bus to the shop and another trip to do the collection will exceed the S$1.90 mail cost.

If that is still not enough to entice you, there’s more! Snapfish offers printing of posters as well as gifts. It’s definitely a unique gift for someone you love and the shipping costs are reasonable as well. From the looks of it, Snapfish is my current best route to printing digital prints since there’s only the need for me to upload my photos and wait for the delivery. At the moment, Snapfish is offering the first 20 prints for free not inclusive of the postal cost.

For those of you who are running outdated antivirus software or running always-free versions, Grisoft is offering AVG 7.5 Professional for free. The offer is valid until 17 January 2008 and only for personal usage so grab it fast as AVG 7.5 Professional retails for US$29.95.

Those running AVG Free edition should consider upgrading as the Professional version includes advanced scanning and scheduling options. Also, AVG is a lot better than Norton and McAfee in my opinion as it is a lot leaner on the system resources.

Last Saturday, I went to Fish Leong’s concert thanks to Xavi’s invitation. Here are the pictures from the concert, enjoy! Apologies for any unclear pictures!

It’s quite amazing to see what the audience are doing. We thought that we were watching a movie, and not a concert. See the number of newspaper readers? Well, probably it was because one of the sponsors were MyPaper, and they were giving copies out.

 We were sitting in the S$130 seats that were on the left side of the stage. Fish Leong is like a little girl, very pro in 撒娇, looking very cute in the process. She kept referring to the second level (cheapest tickets) as “你们在山顶上的人，听到吗？” and that starting from now on, they must start to save for her concert next year (if any).

 I couldn’t help smiling during the first song. The cameraman decided it was fun showing the back-up singers’ face every few seconds.

These team of cheerleaders is from Republic Polytechnic, which doesn’t impress me much really. Don’t get me wrong, but I just find that their co-ordination was way out of sync, even though they do earn some points in making a human pyramid during the song.

This is the first of the acts which performed while Liang Jing Ru went for her costume change. The couple was fabulous, swinging effortless round and round, without any precautionary measures (such as a net beneath them). They drew quite a few gasps from the audience.
