I said that one of the prizes will be given out today on 31st December. However, we could not decide which prize is give out first so I used my OpenOffice Calc software to randomly pick a prize. And the prize will be the Samsung Digital Camera Outdoor Kit.

It’s great to see so many comments on Orinity now. It really motivates us to do better and more articles for our readers. I thought that I inform our contestants to be patient if their comments did not appear straight away. I am not a pink fanatic – I only go ga-ga over it when this colour turns out to be more attractive among the other available colours. My favourite colour would have to be yellow, but most of the time I don’t choose this colour though I used to have lots of yellow tops. Pink is usually associated with girly stuffs, and is considered to be the female colour in my opinion.

I am also not a Hello Kitty fan. I don’t queue up for the McDonald’s Hello Kitty soft toys when the mad craze occured about 5 years back. The only times I ever got a deep impression for Hello Kitty were the candy-and-toy packs that I had in primary school; and the time my youngest sis (she was about 5 years old that time) drew a mouth on the Hello Kitty soft toy that one of my aunts gave her.

So why am I even putting this entry? Well, love it or hate it, we just got to post up the pictures (which we received in our emails) of a hotel called the Hotel Hello Kitty. We are not sure where it is located and call us sterotyping if you want, we just can’t help thinking it’s in Japan, the land of the wackiness.

I don’t normally cover a lot on shopping sales but I feel that the current sale at Victoria’s Secret will be worth the while. Victoria’s Secret is currently having their semi-annual sale with up to 50% off on select styles. Choose from over 250 styles of shoes with prices up to 50% off. Select sleepwear are on sale from 25% to 60% off so what are you waiting for? One important thing to mention is that Victoria’s Secret ships internationally but shipping to Singapore carries a one-time charge of around US$24.00.  So, it will be more worthwhile if you are buying several items to save more and get better bang for the buck.

I am a Death Note fan, and if you are one too, I am sure that you would be excited to know that there is going to be a Death Note related movie coming out, starring just L.

Yes, this is the L I am talking about. For non-fans, you can hop over to Wikipedia HERE to read all the previous two films. The new film, titled L Change The World, will be out on the 9th of February 2008 in Japan. I have not read any news about the opening date in Singapore, but let’s hope it will open at about the same time. To clear some basic questions, this film is all about L, so do not expect to see Kira. The film will focus mainly on the last 23 days of L’s life (If you are familiar with the film, you will know that L sacrifices himself to find out who Kira is).

There will also be a novel, which will be out on Christmas Day in Japan. Same with the film, I have yet to read about an English/Chinese version to be released locally. This book is written by a well-known author, who will not be attaching his/her name to the novel, instead he/she will write under the pen name ‘M’, which would refer to “where those who have used the Death Note go”, which is “nothingness” (“mu”). For people who have read the manga, we can’t help but wonder if the name “M” also refers to Mello, one of L’s successors.
