I was checking out John Chow‘s posts from the past few days that I missed due to me being at a holiday resort with my friends. It is hard to believe the power of airbrushing using PhotoShop. I always know that PhotoShop is an awesome piece of software but the video threw my beliefs even wilder. It is not just awesome, it is ‘god-like’ like how some of my friends will describe it. Thanks to John Chow for that entry, it was really entertaining and definitely an eye-opener.

Behold! The power of airbrushing!

I noticed that there are some searches on Google that leads to Orinity.com. One of the search terms that caught my eyes is the search term ‘Male Spree Singapore’. Weird? It is. It is rather true that there’s a lot less online shopping spree organizers and shopping websites that targets male shoppers. Somehow, it eludes the minds of the shopping websites and spree organizers that men can be shoppers too. As a typical male online shopper, the things guys buy are quite different from the bags, clothes and accessories that my female counterparts buy. I have purchased various computer parts, my iPod, macBook, books and other gadgets. One may say that my purchases are typically technological gadgets. Apparently, there isn’t many websites selling apparels and ship to Singapore. My only past experience will be buying a sweater from CafePress. I actually find their range of apparels to be quite interesting since it is more like a marketplace selling designs from a range of designers or sellers.

When does a person do a self-reflection? When he or she experience something that jars them out of their comfort zone. That is how we humans are, we take for granted the things around us, often not realising we are guilty of it. What we should have said and done, these are the questions that we often find ourselves thinking about over and over. And sometimes, even if we tell ourselves not to do it again, we get caught up emotionally in the moment and forget the lessons that we realised before.

Something minor was said to me today that I cried.

And I vowed to trust more and not sound sarcastic (though jokingly)whenever he tells me something. I’ve got to believe in myself and in him.
Appreciation is one of the key factors in a relationship. That’s the factor that makes you realise not to take anyone/anything for granted.
Go on, show your appreciation. Send e-cards, text messages, a call or two to show you care. Words might need to be spoken, but actions are remembered in the heart.

We all know that celebrities endured a lot of beauty treatments (botox injections, liposuctions and even injections to make them not sweat at their armpits) for just a few minutes walk down the red carpet. Well, they can jolly well afford to as they are rich folks.

But for us ordinary people, this is probably the closest we can get to exclusive beauty treatments. I saw the following at Watsons while I was paying for a tube of Watson’s hand cream. Extreme apologies for the blur shots as I was trying to take the pictures without the cashier noticing me.

Watson’s Frownies. I didn’t get a closer look but I think it had to do with clear tape that you put over your crow’s feet to reduce them when you smile for the camera. Perhaps it is of a similar application like the double eyelid tape, except that the double eyelid tape is to create lines and the Frownies are to reduce them.

Yes, you didn’t make a mistake. Look, it’s even got a hole for the nipple. We all know there are masks for the face and eyes, but now the beauty sectors personnel want to make you have inner beauty as well. Seriously, this made me frown with doubt (perhaps I can try out the Frownies?). A very large percentage of us walk around with something covering our chest, underbust areas and our privates. Is there really a need to moisturize our chest? I guess only heaven knows.
